Andy Lee will make his Pirelli World Challenge GT class debut in this weekend’s season-ending rounds at Miller Motorsports Park.

The Colorado native will pilot the No. 20 Reiter Engineering Lamborghini Gallardo FL2, typically driven by Tomas Enge, thanks to a partnership from Lee’s GTS team, BestIT Racing.

“The opportunity for BestIT Racing to share resources with Reiter Engineering fits perfectly into each of our team’s long term goals,” said BestIT team manager Barry Pantzer.

“Pirelli World Challenge has provided an excellent series for Andy to move up to the GT class showcasing his race craft and the impressively engineered Reiter Lamborghini GT3.”

Lee will be looking to return to victory lane at the Utah circuit, having claimed GTS class honors there in 2012.

“I can’t tell you how excited and grateful I am to my sponsors for the opportunity to race in GT,” he said. “This is another dream come true for me. I can’t wait to see where I stack up against some of the best drivers in the country.”

Lee’s Lambo is one of three entered by the German-based Reiter squad, which includes GT-A entries for Albert von Thurn und Taxis and Marcelo Hahn.
