CrowdStrike has announced an expansion of its involvement in SRO Motorsports America to involve sponsorship of entries in both Blancpain GT World Challenge America and Pirelli GT4 America.

George Kurtz, who won the 2017 GT4 America GTSA championship, will make the step up to the Blancpain GT America in a DXDT Racing-entered Mercedes-AMG GT3 alongside longtime co-driver Colin Braun.

That car will run alongside a previously announced second DXDT entry for Ryan Dalziel and David Askew.

“Racing is something I love, and by its very nature, it is a place where pushing yourself to the next level is part of the landscape,” said Kurtz.

“Moving up to the GT class with Mercedes is a logical progression, and DXDT Racing is well-prepared to support our 2019 campaign. Having Colin as my co-driver, plus Ryan and David as our teammates, is really exciting.”

In addition to supporting Kurtz’s efforts, a CrowdStrike-supported GT4 America partial season effort has been announced for driver CJ Moses in a GMG Racing-run Audi R8 LMS GT4, with additional backing from Amazon Web Services.

Moses has extensive experience racing at the SCCA level and will be making the step to professional racing this with scheduled appearances at St. Petersburg, Long Beach, Virginia International Raceway, and Watkins Glen International.

“I’m honored to be joining George Kurtz driving for CrowdStrike Racing with GMG,” said Moses.

“We have an exciting season of CXO Summits planned for our esteemed guests and I look forward to continuing the team’s winning ways as I take the step up to the Pirelli GT4 America series.”

The announcement of CrowdStrike’s expanded team and driver lineup comes just after the cybersecurity company and SRO America’s increased its series-level partnership as the Official Internet and Cloud Security Provider for the series for the second year running.
