Fong Leads Absolute Bentley 1-2 in Practice at CTMP

Adderly Fong led a Bentley Team Absolute 1-2 in practice for this weekend’s Pirelli World Challenge round at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Fong reeled off best lap of 1:15.914 in his No. 88 Bentley Continental GT3, edging out teammate Andrew Palmer by 0.146 seconds.

Both drivers are making their debuts at CTMP.

The No. 2 CRP Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra of local favorite Kyle Marcelli was third, followed by James Davison’s No. 33 Always Evolving Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 in fourth.

Austin Cindric was fifth in the No. 6 K-PAX Racing McLaren 650S GT3, making it four different manufacturers in the top-five.

The No. 66 DIME Racing Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 of Frankie Montecalvo was quickest in GTA, having posted the 7th quickest time overall in the 30-minute session.

Alec Udell, meanwhile, led the way in GT Cup, thanks to a 1:20.758 lap in his No. 17 GMG Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

Qualifying for GT/GTA/GT Cup cars is set for 4:50 p.m. ET.
