The first Pirelli World Challenge GT Sprint race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park has been delayed due to fog, in what will see a revised weekend schedule for the series.

The race, originally scheduled for a 1:55 p.m. ET start, has now been delayed to 4:10 p.m., weather permitting.

It therefore will move the scheduled start of the 50-minute GTS Sprint round, originally set for 4:10 p.m., by at least 90 minutes, in order to accommodate the delayed GT race start as well as a practice session for the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.

Conditions have not improved in the last two hours since fog descended upon the Canadian circuit, with rain now beginning to fall.

Stay tuned for the latest updates…
