“Over the last number of years, we have worked diligently to execute a plan for overall series growth and I’m happy that we are reaching the goals set out in that plan,” said Scott Bove, President and CEO, WC Vision/Pirelli World Challenge.

“Having over 100 cars entered for our first race of the season is a testament to our hard work and we look forward to continuing that work to further grow the series.”

The GT field features four teams fielding two cars. The pair of Cadillac Racing Cadillac ATS-V.Rs (Johnny O’Connell, Andy Pilgrim) will make their race debut, the pair of Bentley Team Dyson Racing Bentley Continental GT3s have Chris Dyson and Butch Leitzinger on board, the two RealTime Racing Acura TLX-GTs (Peter Cunningham, Ryan Eversley) are set for their first outing as teammates, and the pair of K-PAX Racing McLaren 650S GT3s have drivers TBA.

Single entries from EFFORT Racing (Ryan Dalziel), GMG Racing (James Sofronas), LG Motorsports (Lou Gigliotti), Scuderia Corsa (Mike Hedlund), CRP Racing and R. Ferri Motorsport. CRP and R. Ferri have drivers TBA.

EFFORT, Scuderia Corsa and GMG are also listed among the 16 GTA entries, with DragonSpeed and TRG-AMR among the other notable teams entered there.

All 10 GT Cup entries have a driver listed, as do all 20 GTS entries.

Notable absences to this point include the Reiter Engineering Lamborghini Gallardo FL2s (GT), GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Hyundai Genesis coupe (GTS) and several others that have either planned or announced programs ahead of the 2015 season.

The entry list will likely change and be updated in the weeks to come before COTA, and could see the numbers grow beyond the 103 indicated.
