After coming up short in Saturday’s opening race of the weekend, Daniel Mancinelli and Niccolo Schiro have scored a dominant win at Utah Motorsports Campus, with TR3 Racing and Ferrari becoming the first repeat winners of the Pirelli World Challenge SprintX season.

Mancinelli took the No. 31 Ferrari 488 GT3 to a 0.969-second win over Ryan Eversley’s No. 43 RealTime Racing Acura NSX GT3, following a four-minute shootout to the finish after a late-race yellow.

It prompted a frantic restart, particularly for positions two on back, with the third-placed No. 58 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Patrick Long fading to 6th and promoting the No. 8 Cadillac ATS-V.R of Michael Cooper to the final podium place.

Cooper and co-driver Jordan Taylor extend their lead in the SprintX championship standings, heading into the final three rounds of the season at Circuit of The Americas next month.

The No. 9 K-PAX Racing McLaren 650S GT3 of Alvaro Parente and Ben Barnicoat was fourth, with Johnny O’Connell and Ricky Taylor’s No. 3 Cadillac completing the top-five overall and in GT Pro-Pro.

Michael Schein and Jan Heylen, meanwhile, completed a clean sweep of the weekend in GT Pro-Am, taking their No. 16 Wright Porsche to top class honors with a 11th place overall finish.

Schein held off the No. 14 GMG Racing Porsche of James Sofronas for the class win, with the No. 75 Always Evolving/AIM Autosport Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 of Frankie Montecalvo and Ricardo Sanchez third.

The No. 30 MOMO NGT Motorsport Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 of Henrique Cisneros and Jonathon Ziegleman collected the GT Am-Am class win again, with Yuki Harata and Alessandro Bressan claiming GT Cup honors in their No. 55 Dream Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo.

The No. 47 NOLAsport Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR, damaged in yesterday’s GTS Sprint race, still managed to come out on top in SprintX GTS.

The race was slowed twice, the first for the No. 87 Absolute Bentley Continental GT3 of Will Stevens, which stopped on track, prior to a multi-car accident involving the No. 63 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, No. 77 Calvert Dynamics Porsche and No. 88 Absolute Bentley, which set up the run to the checkered flag.

After winning on Saturday, the No. 93 RealTime Acura of Mark Wilkins and Peter Kox had to settle for a 12th place result after an unscheduled stop early for a puncture.
