Christina Nielsen will have a busy 2015 season, with two full-time programs now confirmed with TRG-AMR.

She has been confirmed for a full-season Pirelli World Challenge GT program with the team’s GT3-spec Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3, which comes in addition to a full-season entry with James Davison in a GT Daytona class Aston Martin Vantage in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

“I’m so excited to be joining TRG-AMR’s Pirelli World Challenge program for 2015 and am really fortunate we were able to put this great program together,” Nielsen said.

“This allows us to immediately start focusing on working in one direction, learning the team, chemistry, and the tracks – and of course the V12 Vantage GT3 – one of the strongest options in the field right now!

“The team has proven their speed and their results speak for themselves. I have no doubt that we can turn this into a real run for a championship next year. It’s now time for some hard work and at COTA the fun truly begins.”

Added TRG-AMR team principal Kevin Buckler, “We are really excited to have signed Christina for the entire Pirelli World Challenge GT season. She is the real deal. She was able to pull off a fantastic podium finish at Sonoma earlier this year in GTA – her first time racing with the series.

“Between that, testing with us at multiple tracks, running so strong at Petit Le Mans and giving her 100%, she has the entire team behind her.”

There are two TUDOR Championship/World Challenge weekend conflicts.

The last weekend in June, the TUDOR Championship runs at Watkins Glen while World Challenge is at Road America.

Meanwhile the weekend of August 23 will see the TUDOR Championship at Virginia International Raceway and World Challenge at Miller Motorsports Park.

Nielsen is TRG-AMR’s third driver confirmed for World Challenge in 2015. Max Riddle and Derek DeBoer will run the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 in the GTS class.
