From a European racing perspective, there are some WEC, ELMS, Blancpain GT, GT Open, ADAC GT events, on at the same weekend, and sometimes in the same country!
Putting differences aside, should the FIA, SRO, ACO etc, collaborate, and discuss hosting some of their events together, if their events do fall on the same weekend / country?
Wouldn’t this also save costs for event organisers. E.g. Running costs for the track.
I remember many years ago the former WTCC and FIA GT did something similar.
    Thoughts on this suggestion?

Do you know if the WEC plans to adopt a more sophisticated leader lights system in the future, such as those used by IMSA or Indycar? The three-light system currently used in WEC, whilst innovative when introduced is starting to look a little primitive by comparison. The technology obviously exists as proven at this years Nürburgring 24 hour race and week-in, week-out with the Blancpain GT Championships. One plea from a regular trackside spectator, however; the displays would need to be on the sides of the cars – as with IMSA and Indycar – because as good as the Blancpain system is for television, having recently attended the Blancpain GT Endurance event at Silverstone, the windscreen mounted displays are just not visible from trackside spectator enclosures.

What do you think about the performance of Ligier and Dallara in ELMS and WEC so far? Is the joker giving any result, or they will lose customers in favor of Oreca?
