Oliver Gavin will return to Mount Panorama next month, having been confirmed to make his second consecutive start in the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.

The Corvette factory driver has joined the Skwirk Audi squad for this year’s around-the-clock enduro, teaming with Rod Salmon and Nathan Antunes in an Audi R8 LMS ultra that will compete for outright honors in Class A.

“I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of an Audi at Bathurst,” Gavin said. “After last year I feel there’s some unfinished business for me, and I think the team that Rod has put together will give us as good an opportunity to race at the front as any team in the field.”

Gavin, who is coming off a podium finish in the Bathurst 1000 in his race debut, drove a Class-B Rotek Racing Audi in the 12-hour last year, which coincidentally became the chassis that Salmon took to victory in last year’s Australian GT Championship.

The four-time Le Mans class winner is the latest high-profile driver to join the rapidly growing grid for the Feb. 6-8 event.
