A total of 65 cars are entered for next month’s official test day at Le Mans, it has been revealed.
The ACO confirmed Thursday the entry list for the single-day test on May 31, which features an oversubscribed field for the first time.
ENTRY LIST: Le Mans Test Day
Sixty-four cars are confirmed to participate, including the current race reserve entries from KCMG, Ibanez Racing, Formula Racing and Gulf Racing UK, as well as two additional AF Corse Ferraris.
Additionally, there will be two LMP3 cars at the test, with Team LNT fielding its two Ginetta-Nissans that debuted in last weekend’s European Le Mans Series season-opener at Silverstone.
LMP3 cars are not permitted to take part in the race but allowed to take part in the test. Of note, it will mark the Le Mans debut of British Olympian Chris Hoy in one of the LNT entries.
With a capacity of 64 cars for the test day, the Scuderia Villorba Corse Ginetta-Nissan LMP3 car is currently on the reserve list for the test.
