Chouest Povoledo Racing will continue a dual-series campaign in Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS and GT America powered by AWS next year, it has been confirmed.
The Louisiana-based team made its GT3 debut this year with Ross Chouest and Aaron Povoledo at the wheel of Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo machinery, scoring a string of top-five finishes in both series, although missed the final weekend of the season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway due to lack of available cars following several accidents and issues in previous races.
“We’re really happy to be back,” said Povoledo. “I feel that we gained a lot of experience last year, and I’m excited to see Ross Chouest continue to grow as a driver.
“2024 was an incredible year for us. It was our first season stepping up from GT4 to GT3, and while the numbers only differ by one, what you need as a team to move up is a huge leap. I’m really excited to come back next year because I feel like we’ve built an incredible team.”
Povoledo added: “We’ve grown so much in terms of staff, engineering, and talent. The guys—the technicians, mechanics, engineers, truck drivers—everyone has stepped up. I’m thrilled to offer them all a place again next year and to build on what we learned.
“The team did an absolutely fantastic job preparing and engineering the cars, and I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running next season with the same incredible crew and even stronger momentum.
“We’ve already got most of the equipment and tools in place, but there’s always so much you can’t know until you experience it firsthand. I’m genuinely excited to return with this group of people.”
It is the second official Fanatec GT America entry confirmed for 2025 following last week’s news that Regulator Racing will also be back next year.
