With this year’s around-the-clock endurance classic in the books, race officials have confirmed the date for the 2015 Nürburgring 24.
The 42nd running of the ADAC Zurich 24h Race will take place on May 14-17, five week’s earlier than the event this year.
It will, for the first time, include a round of the World Touring Car Championship, which will run on Saturday morning on the entire 15-mile Nordschleife circuit.
Additionally, following its successful debut this year, the N24 Qualifying Race will return following an debut and is scheduled for April 12-13.
“We wanted to provide our teams and drivers early planning for the 24h race at the Nürburgring,” said race director Walter Hornung.
“Furthermore, the 24h race will, subject to FIA approval, attract clearly more international attention due to the World Touring Car Championship round held at the Nordschleife in the 24h-race support program.”
