The Asian Le Mans Series has revealed an updated entry list for the upcoming 2024/25 season, featuring a second GT class entry from Porsche squad Manthey that brings up the total number of cars to 45.
Having already been represented on the provisional entry list issued last month, Manthey has entered a second Porsche 911 GT3 R, the No. 92 car, under the Manthey EMA banner that is also seen in the FIA World Endurance Championship (pictured top).
It means the GT class is now made up of 28 cars, while the LMP2 and LMP3 divisions remain stable at 11 and six cars respectively.
Another change to the GT class is that the No. 85 Proton Competition Porsche is now entered under the Iron Dames banner, with Michelle Gatting confirmed as a driver.
The collaboration between Proton and the Iron Lynx organization, of which the all-female Iron Dames project is an offshoot, is nothing new, as the two teams field a joint LMP2 entry in the European Le Mans Series.
There are no changes in either LMP2 or LMP3 compared to the initial entry, although LMP2 outfit Nielsen Racing’s number has changed from No. 4 to No. 24.
In the GT class, Chinese Mercedes-AMG squad Climax Racing has also swapped No. 5 for No. 2, while Absolute Corse’s Ferrari 296 will now carry the No. 23 instead of the No. 95.
The new Asian Le Mans Series season is due to kick off with a double-header at Sepang in Malaysia on Dec. 7-8.
