Creventic has introduced an updated class structure for the second edition of the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport at Spa-Francorchamps, which will see the previously existing Am-class split up into two separate categories.

The Dutch organization has opted to create separate classes for Bronze and Silver-rated drivers, with Bronzes now competing in Am-B while Am-S has been introduced for Silvers. Gold and Platinum drivers will not be allowed to compete in either class.

Silver drivers will be permitted a maximum of three hours of driving time, while there is no limit on the driving time for a Bronze-rated driver.

As a result, the event will feature four classes, with Am-B and Am-S joining the previously existing Pro and Pro-Am categories.

The Pro and Pro-Am categories will remain otherwise unchanged, with Bronze-rated drivers in the Pro-Am category needing to abide by a minimum driving time of five hours.

In the same category, there is no limit for Silver-rated drivers while a Gold or Platinum competing in a Pro-Am car is limited to a maximum of four hours.

Similarly, the driving time for Gold or Platinum drivers is limited to five hours in the Pro class, while Bronze and Silvers have no such requirements in the top class.

The event, exclusively for Porsche 992 GT3 Cup machinery, was held for the first time last year. It was won by Black Falcon Team 48 Losch, after a lineup consisting of Loek Hartog, Christopher Mies, Tobias Mueller and Noah Nagelsdiek led 212 of the 276 completed laps.

The second edition is scheduled for Sept. 6.
