Creventic has announced a new partnership with Michelin, which will become the exclusive tire supplier for the 24 Series beginning next year.

The French tire giant, which has also been named the series’ title sponsor, will begin its relationship with the Dutch-run organization with the 20th running of the 24H Dubai on Jan. 10-12.

Michelin replaces Hankook, which had served as title sponsor and the exclusive tire provider for the last ten years.

“We are thrilled to embark on this journey with Creventic,” said Julien Vial, Michelin Europe’s director of customer racing.

“Endurance racing has always been part of Michelin’s DNA and the 24H Series is an important series in this segment of the sport. We look forward to writing the next chapter of this Series together with the Creventic Team.”

Hankook first joined the 24H Series in 2014 with the running of the Hankook 12H Zandvoort and had been through the rise of the series, which has raced on multiple continents over the last decade.

“We would like to wholeheartedly thank Hankook for an extremely helpful and productive tenure with the 24H Series,” said Creventic representative Peter Freij.

“We remain immensely grateful for their assistance and support over the last ten years, and the invaluable mark their work has had on the 24H Series.”
