Pirelli World Challenge will go into the 2015 season with several changes on its competition and technical staff.

Geoff Carter, who has served as World Challenge competition director and race director and been with the organization since 2012, will not return to either role.

“I’m exploring several very interesting opportunities that have already come up in this short amount of time,” Carter told Sportscar365.

Added Scott Bove, President/CEO of Pirelli World Challenge: “I want to thank Geoff Carter for his contributions to the business over the last three years.

“He has brought us to where we are today, which is a good place. We wish him the very best going forward in his career, and the series looks forward to our greatest year yet in 2015.”

Further announcements will be made next week, expected to be Wednesday, on future staff changes to the technical and competition sides of the business, a World Challenge spokesman confirmed.
