The Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo has received a mid-event Balance of Performance adjustment ahead of the two Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS races at Barber Motorsports Park.

Confirmed by SRO Motorsports Group on Saturday morning, the Mercedes-AMG will run with a 15 kg weight reduction compared to the configuration the cars started the weekend in.

It means the minimum weight has been reduced to 1345 kg, while still being the heaviest GT3 car in the field.

The change was communicated following qualifying for the pair of 90-minute races.
