Title-winning Lamborghini squad FFF Racing Team has ceased operations, according to a statement on the organization’s social media channels.

The team, which was owned by Chinese businessman Fu Songyang and operated by Andrea Caldarelli’s ACM group, emerged from the Asian GT3 scene to become one of Lamborghini’s top outfits in Europe.

Its most notable achievement was sweeping the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance, Sprint and combined drivers’ titles in 2019 with Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli.

The team also won the 2018 GTWC Asia series, the 2019 GTWC Europe Sprint Cup Pro-Am class, the 2020 Road to Le Mans and gold at the 2019 FIA Motorsport Games running Japan’s entry.

FFF took a sabbatical from GTWC Europe after the 2021 season and had intentions of returning to GT3, however that has turned into a permanent leave of absence.

The team carried on for one year in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe where it fielded multiple cars including one for MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa.

The team’s social media statement read: “It has been a fantastic journey, which has allowed us to achieve insane results: we enjoyed every stint, every lap, every turn of it.

“On the day we announce the end of our racing activities, we would like to thank all those who have accompanied us along the way: from the drivers to the engineers, from the mechanics to the fans, you have all supported us by pushing us towards even more ambitious goals.

“It was a hell of a ride: we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!”
