Espenlaub, Putman to Drive Fall-Line Audi

Fall-Line Motorsports confirmed Saturday the signing of Charles Espenlaub and Charlie Putman, who will drive the team’s Audi R8 LMS in next year’s TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

The longtime driver pairing are no strangers to the Chicago area-based squad, having teamed together to win the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge GS championship in 2010, while also helping debut the team’s Audi in Rolex Series competition earlier this year.

“We are extremely excited to welcome back Charlie and Charles to the Fall-line Motorsports GTD program,” said team manager Michael Harvey. “We have previously enjoyed great success together and it is a privilege to continue our relationship as the TUDOR United SportsCar series enters its inaugural season.

“Both Fall-Line Motorsports and Audi Sport customer racing have worked tirelessly together over the past few months to continue to build upon the program we started in 2013 as we look forward to starting 2014 with the Sebring and Daytona tests.”
