RLR Msport will expand to LMP2 next year, having announced plans to run a new-for-2017 Ligier JS P217 in the European Le Mans Series.
The program will be in partnership with Dalveen Enterprises, a company run by Ross Warburton, who confirmed on Tuesday that he has signed a deal to purchase a Ligier JS P217 from Onroak.
It marks a return to LMP2 for the British squad, which had previously campaigned a MG Lola in the series.
This will be campaigned alongside the existing LMP3 program, run with Mike Smith Motorsport, with the effort set to increase to two Ligier JS P3 Nissans for 2017.
