***Millennium Racing will not take part in the test day, despite being listed with two Oreca 03 Nissans. Participation in the test day is not mandatory for the team, which is still set to race one of its cars at Le Mans in a fortnight. Fabien Giroix, John Martin and Oliver Turvey are listed to race the car.

***Alexander Matschull at Taisan? The entry list now shows Alexander Matschull driving the Team Taisan Ferrari 458 Italia with Shinji Nakano and Martin Rich. The German races in Blancpain Endurance Series with GT Corse by Rinaldi Racing. Pierre Ehret and James Rossiter are absent this weekend.

***The Nissan ZEOD RC is not at Le Mans yet as the car is currently testing in England. On Sunday Wolfgang Reip and Tomas Erdos will be in the cockpit at the test.

***One of two Ligier JS P2 in the OAK Racing box has an HPD engine, the other one a Nissan. This has resulted in changes to the bodywork of the two cars, notably the air intakes and the exhausts.

***Team Taisan team owner Ricky Chiba is not at Autopolis for Super GT this weekend, but has traveled to Le Mans instead for the return of his team to the race. The team’s Ferrari is the car that raced in the Asian Le Mans Series last year and went to Michelotto a full rebuild. No decision has been made on a return to the Asian series, Ricky Chiba confirmed, as there are some clashing dates.

***Despite not racing at Le Mans this year following the withdrawal of SRT Motorsports, Dominik Farnbacher is at Le Mans to oversee the Team Taisan effort this weekend. Farnbacher Racing is supporting Taisan’s efforts in the race.

***ProSpeed Competition will only enter a single Porsche 911 GT3 RSR at the test day, but the Belgian team has announced it will once again run an art car at Le Mans this year, like in the last three years. The livery of the car will be revealed during scrutineering next week.
