The No. 14 AO by TF Oreca 07 Gibson will carry AO’s signature ‘Spike’ the dragon livery at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it has been announced.

The LMP2 Pro-Am class entry, driven by PJ Hyett, Louis Deletraz and Alex Quinn, will see the trio pilot the purple and orange design that made its debut in January’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Hyett and Alpine Hypercar ace Paul Loup-Chatin are full season drivers in the car in the WeatherTech Championship, while the Chicago-area based team has a partnership with TF Sport to run in the European Le Mans Series and at Le Mans.

Of note, Quinn also took part in the Rolex 24 with the AO team.

“Rexy Racing at Le Mans for the 100th anniversary was an incredible experience, but we have some unfinished business at the Circuit de la Sarthe,” said AO team owner/driver Hyett

“We’re coming back this year with Spike, our LMP2 dragon, to delight fans on the way to the top spot! Allons-y.”

TF Sport team principal Tom Ferrier added: “We are hugely excited to bring our partnership with AO racing to Le Mans.

“It’s such a fantastic event and we have a brilliant line up. PJ is one of the best bronze drivers in the world and with Alex and Louis we have the drivers to back him up.

“A 24-hour race is always hard but we plan to be there at the end and fighting for the win.”
