OAK Racing’s Ligier JS P2 Nissan won’t be present when the FIA World Endurance Championship returns to action next month at the Nürburgring, with the LMP2 entry having been withdrawn from the upcoming German round.

The No. 35 car, piloted by the all-gentlemen driver lineup of Jacques Nicolet, Jean-Marc Merlin and Erik Maris, was registered as a full-season entry but is no longer on the entry list for the fourth round of the season.

It has resulted in a reduced field of eight LMP2 cars and 33 total entries for the championship’s first visit to Nürburgring on Aug. 28-30.
