Pedersen Joins Kellymoss for Dual Series Program

Jake Pedersen has joined Kellymoss for a dual-series program that will include an expansion into a two-car IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge program with Porsche North America Selected Driver Kay van Berlo.

The Utah native will make his debut with Kellymoss in the next Porsche Carrera Cup North America round in Miami, piloting the No. 85 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car for the remainder of the season in the one-make series.

Additionally, the rising driver team up with van Berlo for a second Kellymoss with Riley entry in the GS class of Pilot Challenge, beginning with next month’s round at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

“I’ve already felt accepted into the family at Kellymoss,” said Pedersen. “I’m fortunate to not only be competing in the same corner with them, but to be surrounded by the great people that constitute the team.To me, that is more valuable than anything.”

Kellymoss CEO and co-owner Andy Kilcoyne added: “We’re excited to see Jake grow from the partnership with Kay. We know Jake has the raw potential, positive attitude and commitment to benefit from Kay’s years of experience and championship mentality.

Van Berlo was part of the Wisconsin-based team for two seasons in Carrera Cup North America competition as well as contesting the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship last year, highlighted by numerous victories by the Miami-based Dutchman.
