AF Corse is expected to field cars in all three classes of the Blancpain Endurance Cup in 2016, as the Italian team announced it will also enter a brand-new Ferrari 488 GT3 in the Am Cup.
The lineup will consist of Peter Mann and Francisco Guedes, who claimed the Gentlemen Trophy back in 2014 with the same team.
Fellow Bronze-rated driver Rino Mastronardi will join the duo. The 46-year-old Italian claimed three podiums in the Am Cup at the beginning of the 2015 season with Glorax Racing.
Their Ferrari 488 GT3 will carry No. 51 and will distinguish itself with its blue “TdF” color which has already been seen on Mann’s Ferrari 458 at the 24 hours of Daytona last month.
“It is a real joy to return to the Blancpain Endurance Series with my friends Francisco Guedes, Rino Mastronardi and the AF Corse family,” Mann said.
“There is no doubt, for me, that this championship remains today the best GT championship there is and we will have the privilege of participating in it with the new Ferrari 488 GT3.”
AF Corse will also compete in the Blancpain Sprint Cup this season.
