Boutsen Ginion Racing has announced the first two drivers that will compete with its brand new BMW M6 GT3 in the Blancpain GT Series this year.

Once again the Belgian team can count on Olivier Grotz and Karim Ojjeh for the third season in a row. The duo scored three Am Cup podiums in 2015 with the BMW Z4 GT3, including a class win.

The 21-year-old Silver-rated Luxemburger and experienced Saudi will be joined by a third, yet-to-be-confirmed driver.

“Considering its first race at Daytona last month, it seems that the car is well founded and it will be up to the drivers to take the maximum out of the car,” Ojjeh said.

“It will take us time to adjust with the big body and reliability but we have to be competitive from the start.”

The team received their brand new BMW M6 GT3 last week.
