RHC Lawrence-Strom has committed to the California 8 Hours at Laguna Seca, having confirmed a single-car BMW M4 GT4 entry for the Intercontinental GT Challenge season finale.

The American team made its IGTC debut in last month’s season-opener at Bathurst, finishing fourth in class with Daren Jorgensen, Brett Strom, Cameron Lawrence and Kuno Wittmer.

Jorgensen, Strom and Lawrence are confirmed as drivers for the Oct. 26-28 event.

It is the first GT4 entry announced for the race.

“SRO Motorsports Group has built a competitive platform with the InterContinental GT Challenge,” Jorgensen said. “The inaugural California 8 Hours was an impressive event with drivers, teams and manufacturers from all over the world.

“Participating in the 2018 event was a simple decision.”

As was the case at Bathurst, the team will again partner with MarcGT Australia for operational support, in addition to extended support from Strom Motorsports.

“We had a strong debut with our BMW M4 GT4 at the Bathurst 12 Hour with MarcGT, so I have high expectations for the California 8 Hour and look forward to working with MarcGT again,” said Strom.
