With on-track activity now just days away, the entry lists for both pre-season TUDOR United SportsCar Championship tests are quickly coming together, with more than 20 cars expected for Sebring and Daytona.
IMSA released updated lists this week, with 19 official entries for the test at Sebring on Sat. and Sun., including notable additions Action Express Racing (Corvette DP), Marsh Racing (Corvette DP), Project Libra (Radical SR9 Ford) and the DeltaWing coupe, all in the Prototype class.
BMW Team RLL and SRT Motorsports will test one car each in the newly named GT Le Mans category, while a number of new Porsche 911 GT Americas will debut, including entries from Alex Job Racing, Team Seattle/AJR, NGT Motorsport, Magnus Racing and Muehlner Motorsports.
Flying Lizard Motorsports, meanwhile, will take the wraps off its pair of new Audi R8 LMS cars, while the new SRT Viper GT3-R will make its public debut in the hands of Riley Motorsports. Additional entries for Sebring include Fall-Line Motorsports (Audi) and TRG-AMR (Aston Martin Vantage V8).
Twenty-five cars are on the provisional list for Daytona, including CORE autosport’s Oreca FLM09, which will join a similar Oreca FLM09 from 8Star Motorsports in the Prototype Challenge class, as well as an additional BMW z4 GTE for BMW Team RLL.
Audi Sport Customer Racing will enter its No. 24 R8 test car at Daytona, while both 8Star and Highway to Help will have their Daytona Prototypes also in action for the Nov. 19-20 test only as well.
While not currently on the list, it’s expected Aston Martin Racing will also take part in both tests with an Aston Martin Vantage V8 GTE car, along with two PC entries from Starworks Motorsport. A to-be-announced PC effort could also surface for the test.
