61 Cars on Updated Spa 24 Entry List

***Jonathan Hirschi completes an all-Swiss lineup on the No. 14 Emil Frey Racing Jaguar for this weekend’s Total 24 Hours of Spa. Hirschi will join the team’s regular drivers Lorenz Frey, Fredy Barth and Gabriele Gardel. “Our main objective is to finish the race without a hitch,” said Hirschi.

***Rob Bell and Shane van Gisbergen were already announced to drive the Von Ryan Racing McLaren MP4-12C and today the third and final driver for the No. 101 car was confirmed. Highly experienced McLaren GT driver Tim Mullen will complete the lineup of the Pro Cup-entered McLaren this weekend.

***Lorenzo Bontempelli will join the No. 42 Sport Garage Ferrari, while German driver Christian Bracke is now listed as the fourth driver on the No. 18 Black Falcon Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. The final seat at Boutsen Ginion will go to Michael Schmetz, who raced one of the GPR AMR Aston Martin Vantage entries in 2013.

***The Duqueine Racing entry that had been a full TBA on the previous provisional entry list, the No. 380 Ferrari 458 Italia, has been updated with Philippe Bourgeois, Pierre Hirschi and Philippe Richard. In the No. 350 Philippe Colançon has completed the lineup.

***Graff Racing, which had entered its Porsche 911 GT3 R, has disappeared off the latest list. With the confirmation that MRS will enter its McLaren with the line-up Sportscar365 reported yesterday, the number of cars will remain at 61.

***Five TBAs remain on the list. Sport Garage has a TBA on each of its Ferrari 458 cars, while Delahaye Racing, Scuderia Villorba Corse and Duqueine Racing each have one seat to be filled.
