Bryan Herta Autosport will return to a four-car Hyundai Elantra N TCR team for this year’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season, which will not feature former class champions Robert Wickens nor Taylor Hagler.
Wickens’ 2023 TCR class co-champion Harry Gottsacker and seven-time race winner Mason Filippi, meanwhile will drive the No. 98 entry. This will be the first time Filippi and Gottsacker have driven together since their rookie seasons in 2019.
2019 class champion Mark Wilkins and young gun Bryson Morris will pair up in the No. 33 Hyundai. Wilkins has been with the BHA/Hyundai program since its inception and narrowly missed the series title the last two seasons while driving alongside Filippi. Morris returns for his second full season with BHA.
Denis Dupont and Preston Brown return in the No. 76 Hyundai. The pair had a podium debut with Hyundai, finishing second in the season-opener at Daytona. They went on to score the first win of the season for the brand at Mid-Ohio.
New for 2025, BHA will enter the No. 9 Hyundai with series rookies Maddie Aust and Suellio Almeida.
Aust joins BHA from a successful campaign in SRO America competition while Brazilian Almeida’s racing resume is untraditional in that he became a sim racer at the age of 21 with no previous on track experience. He went on to win the Radical Cup North America Championship in his rookie season.
BHA will be seeking its sixth consecutive Pilot Challenge manufacturers’ championship for Hyundai.
Wickens, who had been part of the team’s lineup since 2022, is set to focus his efforts on a sprint-race only WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD program with DXDT Racing.
