Nate Cicero gave McCumbee McAleer Racing and Ford its second consecutive IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge pole ahead of this afternoon’s Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 120.

Cicero, in the No. 13 Ford Mustang GT4 he shares with Watkins Glen pole-sitter Jenson Altzman, reeled off a best lap of 1:22.188 in the GS qualifying session.

It was nearly three-tenths quicker than Sean McAlister in the No. 39 CarBahn with Peregrine Racing BMW M4 GT4 EVO that qualified second.

Paul Holton put the No. 46 Team TGM Aston Martin third, with Michael Cooper and Robert Michaelian completing the top-five for Ibiza Farm Motorsports and KohR Motorsports, respectively.

Top qualifying honors in TCR went to Bryson Morris in the No. 33 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR, which qualified an impressive sixth overall.

Morris edged out the No. 93 MMG Honda Civic FL5 TCR of LP Montour by just 0.040 seconds.

The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 120 takes the green flag at 1:25 p.m. EST with live coverage on Peacock, as well as IMSA’s YouTube channel, commercial-free courtesy of Michelin.
