Kingpin Racing will make its return to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge action next weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, with longtime friends Tyler Hoffman and Patrick Wilmot joining forces to take part in the Fox Factory 120.
Close friends since high school and college, Hoffman and Wilmot have dreamed of racing together at the professional level for more than ten years.
That vision becomes reality as they will share the cockpit of Kingpin’s Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 for the two-hour season-ending round.
Both drivers hail from the Atlanta area and have spent years building strong resumes in professional motorsport.
Hoffman has competed across multiple championships, including Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Pilot Challenge, VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, Trans Am and Porsche Endurance Cup North America.
Wilmot, runner-up in the 2024 VP Challenge championship, has also logged starts in Pilot Challenge, SRO America, and Global Mazda MX-5 Cup.
Kingpin’s entry marks the team’s first in Pilot Challenge competition since the four-hour enduro at Mid-Ohio in June when it ran a different lineup.
