Dillon Machavern has scored pole for Friday’s Fox Factory 120 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta following a red flag-impacted qualifying session for the final IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race of the season.

The Turner Motorsport driver recorded a best lap of 1:26.348 in his No. 95 BMW M4 GT4 to edge out Luca Mars’ No. 59 KohR Motorsports Ford Mustang GT4 by 0.114 seconds.

Tom Dyer qualified third in the No. 93 CarBahn by Peregrine Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.

All of the GS class times came in the final four minutes of the session after an early red flag for an accident by the No. 71 Rebel Rock Racing Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R of Frank DePew in Turn 1.

It resulted in a scramble for drivers to set competitive times, with only eight GS class cars ending up quicker than the fastest TCR car, which qualified in a separate incident-free session.

TCR class pole honors went to the No. 73 LA Honda World Racing Honda Civic Type-R TCR of Mat Pombo, who set a new qualifying lap record in the process.

Pombo’s 1:27.803 lap time was 0.338 seconds ahead of the No. 98 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR of Harry Gottsacker.

Mark Wilkins qualified third, with BHA Hyundais qualifying second through fifth in class.

The Fox Factory 120 gets underway Friday at 1:10 p.m. ET with live coverage on Peacock and IMSA Radio.
