MMG Confirms TCR Return With Unchanged Lineup

Montreal Motorsport Group has announced an unchanged driver lineup for its Honda Civic Type R TCR in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge next year, with Karl Wittmer and LP Montour again confirmed for a full season, with Dai Yoshihara back for next month’s four-hour season opener at Daytona International Speedway.

“I’m truly excited for this upcoming season,” said Wittmer. “In my third year racing with MMG, it’s clear just how much we’ve grow, not only in skill, but as a racing family.

“The trust, the support, the way we push each other forward…it all makes us a stronger team.

“We’re eager to get out there and give the track everything we’ve got.”

Montour added: “I have only one goal in mind: to take the lead in the championship and win it! Karl and I make a very effective duo, and we both share the same objective.

“I have complete confidence in the MMG team to support me and help me reach this goal, which is certainly achievable.”

“Our driver lineup is strong, our car is fast, and our team is more determined than ever,” added team principal Benjamin Distaulo.

“Karl, LP, and Dai bring the perfect balance of speed and experience. We’re ready to battle for podiums every weekend.”
