Pegram Racing will switch from Audi to campaign Hyundai machinery for the full IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season.

The Ohio-based team will field an ex-Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR in the ten-round series, with driving duties taken up by the father-daughter combination of Larry and Riley Pegram.

The team debuted in the TCR class last year, running three races with an Audi RS3 LMS TCR and securing a best finish of sixth in class at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“I’ve been racing for a long time and enjoyed a lot of success,” said Larry Pegram, a former Superbike racer.

“But nothing compares to being able to go racing with your daughter.

“It’s a whole different level of enjoyment, and to be able to do it with IMSA, at the best tracks in America, and in front of the greatest fans makes it that much better.”

The Michelin Pilot Challenge season kicks off with the four-hour BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona on Jan. 24.
