A total of 15 entries are set to take part in next weekend’s FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park, the first GTD Pro/GTD-only round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.
Released on Wednesday, the entry list features the six season-long GTD Pro entries and nine GTD cars.
It includes several returning GTD entries that skipped last weekend’s Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, including Wright Motorsports, Team Korthoff Motorsports and CarBahn with Peregrine Racing.
CarBahn is expected to be on the grid with a replacement Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo chassis after its primary car was damaged in the closing stages of last month’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.
Inception Racing is still absent from the grid, with the UK-based squad having initially been undecided on Lime Rock when asked about its future sprint race plans at Watkins Glen.
Ben Barnicoat’s co-driver in the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC GT3 remains to-be-determined, with it currently unclear if Jack Hawksworth will be cleared to race by doctors.
Single BoP Change for Lime Rock
IMSA has also confirmed the Balance of Performance for Lime Rock, which sees only one minor change compared to the CTMP race.
A two-liter fuel capacity increase has been given to the Lexus in both classes.
No other adjustments have been made, although IMSA has released only the GTD BoP tables, meaning it could adjust the DPi class prior to its next round at Road America in August.
