A total of 49 cars are set for next weekend’s Motul SportsCar Grand Prix at Road America, the only two-hour and 40-minute all-class race of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Released on Wednesday, the entry list is comprised of 11 GTP entries, 14 LMP2 cars, ten GTD Pros and 14 GTD cars.

While there are no changes in the GTP class since its last sprint race outing on the streets of Detroit, the LMP2 class will see an addition and return Road America, in the series debut of Team Tonis, and AF Corse’s comeback to the class after missing the class-headline round at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Tonis Kasemets and Matthew Brabham will drive the No. 61 Oreca 07 Gibson, with Luis and Matias Perez Compac at the wheel of the No. 88 AF Corse entry.

JDC-Miller Motorsports will be making its second consecutive class start with its Oreca, for Gerry Kraut and Scott Andrews.

BMW factory driver Connor De Phillippi will sub for the injured Tom Dillmann in the No. 43 Inter Europol Competition entry, alongside Jeremy Clarke.

The Frenchman sustained undisclosed injuries in a late-race accident at CTMP while in the lead and was admitted to the hospital.

The No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca, meanwhile, will see Naveen Rao as its designated Bronze-rated driver, joining Benjamin Pedersen, who has been confirmed for the remainder of the season.

Additionally, Honda Racing Corporation development driver Kaku Ohta will be back in the No. 18 Era Motorsport Oreca, alongside the returning Tobi Lutke.

A number of FIA World Endurance Championship drivers, including Malthe Jakobsen, Sebastien Bourdais, Mikkel Jensen and Paul Di Resta, meanwhile, rejoin their WeatherTech Championship teams next weekend after being forced to miss the CTMP round due to the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.

The GTD Pro class does not feature any changes since CTMP, although GTD will see the return of Korthoff Competition Motors, with the new driver pairing of Daniel Morad and Mike Skeen in its Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

Kenton Koch, who parted ways with the team last week, meanwhile, will continue in the No. 021 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3 alongside Onofrio Triarsi, a partnership that began at CTMP.

Track action at Road America kicks off on Fri. Aug. 1, with final practice and qualifying set for Saturday and the race scheduled for a 1 p.m. CST start on Sun. Aug. 3 with live coverage on Peacock.
