Cadillac topped the time charts for the first time this weekend at Sebring International Raceway, with the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing entry of Filipe Albuquerque going quickest in night practice.
The Portuguese driver recorded a best lap of 1:47.713 in the 90-minute session, edging out the No. 25 Team WRT BMW M Hybrid V8 of Sheldon van der Linde by 0.041 seconds.
The pair of Penske Porsche 963s were third and fourth, led by the No. 7 entry of Julien Andlauer, ahead of Felipe Nasr in the No. 6 machine.
Tom Blomqvist completed the top-five in the No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-06.
The sister No. 93 Acura hit trouble during the session when Nick Yelloly spun in Turn 15 and brushed the wall.
Yelloly brought the car back to the pits with only bodywork damage sustained.
LMP2 was led by the No. 43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca 07 Gibson of Tom Dillmann, who laid down a late flyer to bump the No. 99 AO Racing machine of Jonny Edgar to second in class.
Jack Hawksworth ended up fastest of all GT cars in a blazing 1:59.895 lap time set in the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3.
Antonio Fuoco, meanwhile, paced GTD in the No. 21 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo.
The session saw a single red flag, for the No. 36 DXDT Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R of Salih Yoluc, who spun in Turn 13.
