DragonSpeed has entered into a technical alliance with Risi Competizione for its IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD Pro effort and has added three Ferrari factory drivers to its Rolex 24 at Daytona lineup.

The Elton Julian-led squad revealed last week that it had opted to move its full-season program from GTD to GTD Pro, confirming Albert Costa as the first driver.

On Thursday, the team released renders of the lineup for its No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3, notably swapping its trademark white look for a yellow livery.

At the same time, it confirmed that Risi Competizione, which did not appear on the 61-car entry list for Daytona, will provide support for DragonSpeed’s GTD Pro campaign.

“DragonSpeed’s efforts in its first full season of IMSA GT competition will be bolstered by a technical alliance with perennial Ferrari North American racing champions Risi Competizione,” the team wrote in a brief social media statement.

“Giuseppe Risi’s team will contribute key resources in support of our entry.”

Simultaneously, DragonSpeed outlined the remainder of its lineup for the Florida endurance classic, with Davide Rigon, Miguel Molina and Thomas Neubauer joining the team.

Rigon was part of the lineup that took Risi’s GTD Pro class win last year, while Neubauer joined DragonSpeed at October’s Motul Petit Le Mans.
