Loic Duval set the fastest time in warmup ahead of the 25th edition of Motul Petit Le Mans.
Duval reeled off a lap of 1:10.406 after the checkered flag in the session has come out to put the No. 5 JDC-Miller Motorsports Cadillac DPi-V.R. top of the timing sheets.
The Frenchman ended up beating the No. 01 Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac driven by Scott Dixon by 0.190 seconds.
Dixon’s CGR stablemate Alex Lynn was third, completing a top-three sweep for Cadillac.
The top five was rounded out by the pair of Acura ARX-05s, with the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing car of Brendon Hartley leading Meyer Shank Racing pole sitter Tom Blomqvist.
LMP2 was lead by the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca 07 Gibson of Mikkel Jensen. The Dane’s best effort of 1:11.997 left him ahead of both Action Express Racing Cadillacs, while Anders Fjordbach slotted into second in class.
Kay van Berlo headed the LMP3 pack with a 1:17.345 in the No. 74 Riley Motorsports Ligier JS P320 Nissan.
Nicky Catsburg topped GTD Pro in the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R GTD, with the Dutchman’s fastest lap of 1:19.919 leaving him 0.195 seconds ahead of the No. 42 NTE/SSR Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo that paced GTD in the hands of Marco Holzer.
