The Ford Multimatic Motorsports pair of Mustang GT3s will return for its third season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD Pro class, it was confirmed by the sanctioning body on Wednesday.

Ford has enjoyed a breakthrough season this year in the car’s second campaign.

The team’s No. 65 Mustang GT3 won the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona with Christopher Mies, Frederic Vervisch and Dennis Olsen to claim the car’s first global victory.

The sister No. 64 car driven by Mike Rockenfeller and Seb Priaulx won on the streets of Detroit in May and has added two further podium finishes, with Rockenfeller and Priaulx scoring a pole apiece.

Leaving last month’s Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway, Rockenfeller and Priaulx sit fourth in points with Mies and Vervisch in eighth.

Drivers for the 2026 campaign will be announced at a later date.
