Felipe Fraga set the quickest time in the second and final practice session ahead of the Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Fraga’s time of 1:08.221, set aboard the No. 74 Riley Oreca 07 Gibson he shares with Gar Robinson, was 0.130 seconds faster than the lap set by the No. 8 Tower Motorsports machine in the hands of Renger van der Zande.

Colin Braun completed the top three aboard the No. 04 CrowdStrike Racing by APR Oreca, with Ben Hanley and Louis Deletraz fourth and fifth for United Autosports and AO Racing, respectively.

Deletraz topped Friday’s opening practice session but now found himself 0.452 seconds down on Fraga, although still ahead of the No. 11 TDS Racing entry of Scott Huffaker and Tom Dillmann’s No. 52 Inter Europol by PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca.

In GTD Pro, Jack Hawksworth set an early benchmark time of 1:14.821 aboard the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 to lead the class, beating Madison Snow in the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 by 0.131 seconds.

Tommy Milner and Alexander Sims slotted into third and fourth for Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports, with the No. 77 AO Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R rounding out the top five in class.

Seb Priaulx sat one place clear of the GTD-leading No. 78 Forte Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 driven by Loris Spinelli, which topped its class thanks to a 1:15.665 set by the Italian.

Spinelli was separated from Frankie Montecalvo’s No. 12 Lexus by just 0.015 seconds, while home hero Mikael Grenier picked up third in class aboard the No. 32 Korthoff Preston Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

The 90-minute session was completed without any red flag incidents.

Qualifying for the Chevrolet Grand Prix is scheduled for 4 p.m. EDT.
