The No. 44 Magnus Racing Audi R8 LMS of Andy Lally and John Potter has been excluded from Sunday’s Michelin GT Challenge at VIR due to a ride height infringement.
The GT Daytona class contender, which initially finished third in class, had a minimum ride height violation found in post-race technical inspection, per IMSA.
It has promoted the No. 6 Stevenson Motorsports Audi of Robin Liddell and Andrew Davis to third, giving the John Stevenson-owned team a double podium finish in class.
Paul Miller Racing’s Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow scored a dominant class victory at VIR, marking the first win for the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in North America.
