High Class Racing is set for its IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut, having confirmed an entry into January’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.

The Danish squad, regulars in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the European Le Mans Series, will enter an Oreca 07 Gibson in the Florida endurance classic.

Drivers have yet to be announced.

It comes on the heels of similar Rolex 24 commitments by fellow European-based outfits DragonSpeed, Inter Europol Competition and Cetilar Racing, along with news this week that American outfit Era Motorsport will also contest the race.

At least eight LMP2 entries are now expected for the Jan. 30-31 enduro, when taking into account a minimum of three full-season entries that have already been committed.

High Class, which skipped last weekend’s 2019-20 WEC season finale in Bahrain, has yet to announce its full-season plans for 2021.
