Callum Ilott will embark on a full-time campaign in Wright Motorsports’ Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, replacing Elliott Skeer as the team’s season-long co-driver alongside team owner/driver Adam Adelson.

Announced on Monday, the 27-year-old Brit is set to undertake a dual series campaign between the WeatherTech Championship and NTT IndyCar Series, as Ilott is currently under a multi-year contract with Prema.

Unlike previous years that saw numerous clashes, there are no conflicting weekends between the two U.S.-based series, although Ilott will pull double duty at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, with the GTD class in action that weekend on the famed street circuit.

“I’m very excited to be joining Wright Motorsports for the full season in GTD alongside my IndyCar season,” said Ilott.

“Having raced with Wright Motorsports once before, I got a taste of how impressive the team is and I’m motivated to continue building on that throughout the year.

“It’s shaping up to be a great season ahead and I can’t wait to get to work with Adam, Elliott, Tom and the whole Wright crew.”

Ilott made his debut with the Ohio-based squad in the 2023 Indianapolis 8 Hour presented by AWS and is understood to have kept in touch with Adelson, who acquired the organization from team founder John Wright late last year.

Porsche Motorsport North America Selected driver Tom Sargent, meanwhile, has been retained as the third driver for the Michelin Endurance Cup races, with Skeer set to only take part in the Rolex 24 at Daytona as the team’s fourth pilot.

“I’m extremely excited to get the 2026 season started off with Daytona,” said Adelson, who is set for his third season in GTD.

“We have a new car in the 911 GT3 R Evo, and have been working hard in the off season to be able to extract the most of it as soon as we hit the track.

“I’m also very excited that Callum is joining the team for the full season.

“We’ve been good friends for quite some time and always spoke about how cool it would be to race together, and I’m glad to see that come to fruition.

“For the Rolex 24, we have Tom and Elliott with us, and it’s a driver lineup I know we can count on to bring home a really strong result, hopefully better than last year.”

Adelson, Sargent, Skeer and Ayhancan Guven finished runner-up in this year’s Rolex 24 at the wheel of the No. 120 Porsche.

“2025 was a year full of new experiences for me with both some highs and lows, and I learned a massive amount throughout my first season in IMSA,” said Sargent.

“I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and experience from my first year with the team, and I’m ready to build and improve on that. I feel this will be a much better season for us this year and I’m looking forward to putting our mark on this championship.”

Skeer added: “I’m excited for Daytona. After last year, we know we are capable of winning it. It’s a full day of pushing and adapting through everything this race throws at you. Anything can happen, but that’s the beauty of endurance racing.”

While no longer a full-time WeatherTech Championship driver, Skeer, along with Adelson, are understood to both be taking part in selected NLS races next year as they pursue acquiring their Nürburgring Nordschleife ‘A Permits.’
