Pfaff Motorsports is among the latest teams to have been confirmed by IMSA for the 2026 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, ahead of next week’s full entry list reveal.

The Canadian squad will continue with Lamborghini machinery for a second consecutive season in GTD Pro, with its Huracan GT3 EVO2 expected to start the season at the Rolex 24 at Daytona before moving to the new-for-2026 Lamborghini Temerario GT3 at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in March.

Drivers for the effort have yet to be announced but are expected to again feature factory talent. Works pilots Andrea Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli spearheaded the team’s lineup this season.

GTD entrant Turner Motorsport, meanwhile, was also confirmed by the sanctioning body earlier this week, which will see the Will Turner-run operation return with a single BMW M4 GT3 EVO for the expected continued pairing of Robby Foley and Patrick Gallagher.

Turner told Sportscar365 last month that he doesn’t envision any changes to its WeatherTech Championship program for 2026.

Additionally, Pratt Miller Motorsports will be back in the LMP2 ranks with its Oreca 07 Gibson, marking the team’s second season in WeatherTech Championship prototype competition.

The Michigan-based team, which also builds and operates the factory-supported Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs in the GTD Pro class, has been eyeing a move up to the GTP category, although talks with Genesis, which will enter top-class IMSA competition in 2026, appear to have subsided in recent months.

IMSA President John Doonan is expected to unveil the full list of 2026 entries at next week’s ‘State of the Sport’ address at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on Thursday afternoon.
