Pfaff Motorsports’ McLaren 720S GT3 Evo will have a special livery for this weekend’s Motul Course de Monterey powered by Hyundai N, honoring the McLaren MP4/4 and the 30th anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s passing.
Unveiled on Monday, the GTD Pro class entry will be driven by the team’s season-long pairing of Oliver Jarvis and Marvin Kirchhofer, in the first of three commemorative liveries planned by the Canadian squad this year.
The No. 9 McLaren will be looking to rebound after a challenging start to its WeatherTech Championship campaign, following 10th and 12th place class results in the opening two rounds of the season.
A total of nine GTD Pro cars are set for Sunday’s two-hour and 40-minute race of the season, marking the first sprint race for the class this season.
