Remo Ruscitti will return to Starworks Motorsport for this weekend’s Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park, alongside Mark Kvamme.
The Canadian raced with the Starworks team in the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen earlier this month, partnering with Kvamme and Richard Bradley.
With Bradley busy competing at the Six Hours of Nürburgring this weekend, Ruscitti will once again join Kvamme in the No. 88 Oreca FLM09.
“I’m so excited to be back in the Popcorn Sutton No. 88 Prototype Challenge car with Mark coming into Lime Rock Park,” said Ruscitti.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with everyone again at Starworks Motorsport and continue building on the success we had at our last event together.”
The PC class is the fastest category racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship this weekend, with no Prototype entries allowed.
This means Starworks is one of several PC teams in the hunt for overall top honors.
“Remo did a stellar job at Watkins Glen,” said team owner Peter Baron. “He showed good speed competing at the IMSA level, and did an excellent job keeping the car clean until the end.
“He’s a good fit here at Starworks, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he and Mark can do at Lime Rock Park.”
As previously announced, Starworks will add a third car to its lineup, starting this weekend, to be driven by Sean Rayhall and Jose Gutierrez.
