Daniel Serra will step up to a full season IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship drive with Conquest Racing, teaming up with Manny Franco in the No. 34 Ferrari 296 GT3.

The Ferrari factory driver competed with the Eric Bachelart-led organization in two GTD Pro class events this year, including Road America, where he helped claim the team’s first top-level IMSA victory in 12 years.

Serra’s co-driver for the Road America event, Giacomo Altoe, will join the team for next month’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, with Cedric Sbirrazzuoli reassuming his role as the team’s third driver for the Michelin Endurance Cup races.

He replaces Albert Costa Balboa, who will not return to the team next year.

The Brazilian said: “IMSA is one of my favorite championships, and doing the full season in 2025 will be amazing. I’m excited to join Conquest Racing full time after the great experience we shared in the races we did together in 2024.

“The team’s energy, dedication, and performance are inspiring. I’m confident we’ll achieve great things together.

“Starting the year at Daytona is special—it’s one of my favorite races and holds a unique place in my heart, especially after my incredible win in 2024. I can’t wait to build on that momentum and take on the challenges of a full season.”

Silver-rated Franco, meanwhile, is set for his second consecutive season in the GTD ranks.

“This past year, we accomplished some impressive results and we’re determined to keep that going and set the stage for a successful 2025 season,” he said. “Our priority is always to improve, and we’re focused on consistently challenging for podiums and victories.”

Bachelart added: “We’ve enjoyed tremendous success in 2024, including a victory with Daniel and Giacomo, as well as another win and several podiums with Manny and Cedric.

“Manny and I had mapped out a two-year plan; to learn in the first year and aim for wins in the second.

“Exceeding those expectations this previous season has only further fueled our determination. We’re highly motivated and ready to fight for the championship in 2025. I can’t wait to kick off the season at Daytona.”
