Kyffin Simpson will rejoin Tower Motorsports for next month’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, alongside an otherwise unchanged full season and Michelin Endurance Cup driver lineup in the team’s LMP2 entry.
Confirmed on Tuesday, the 21-year-old Chip Ganassi Racing NTT IndyCar Series driver will complete the lineup in Tower’s No. 8 Oreca 07 Gibson alongside the season-long pairing of John Farano and Sebastien Bourdais, as well as Sebastian Alvarez, who is confirmed for the five long-distance races.
It will mark Simpson’s return to the Ricky Capone-led team since 2023 when he was the designated Endurance Cup pilot, where he helped take Farano and Scott McLaughlin to class victory in the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
Simpson was most recently the LMP2 ranks in the 2024 Rolex 24 as part of DragonSpeed’s lineup.
